2005 comes already to an end. I sincerely hope you had a good time this year and are looking forward to a better year in 2006 !

As the festive seasons arrived, we came up with a special offer to close 2005 in Bubbles, Joy and Format !.

For the past 2 months, we've been very busy to secure a new agency and we are pleased to announce that we are now the distributor for the Exquisite Champagne Philipponnat.

Champagne Philipponnat is a family run house which owns a lot of vineyard in the area including a very rare 5.5 ha monopoly (Clos des Goisses). Only 2 Champagne houses have one, the other one being Krug Clos du Mesnil.

This champagne is mostly served in all the 3 stars restaurants in Europe and USA. It is very elegant, pure finesse due to the ageing on the lees (more than double than any other house). The Brut and the Rose are aged for 3 to 4 years (compare to 1.5 for most of the others) resulting in a late disgorgement (May and July 2005 for the Brut and the Rose).

With regards to the Vintage Clos des Goisses, it is aged on the lees for 10 years !! (instead of 3). The current vintage is 1991 and 1992 ! while most of the other Champagne offers their 1998. It is therefore a very rare occasion to try some 15 years old Champagne !!!
