Great Food, Great Music
今晚接老婆下班,
九時許到達這家新開的蠔吧,
面積很少,大概只能容納 16 位客人,
服務員很生手,不打緊,食物好吃最重要,
先點了海鮮盤,有蠔,蜆,龍蝦,小蛪蝦,青口,蟹,
用盡九牛二虎之力,花了四十五分鐘才把所有海鮮吃掉,
當中生蠔和龍蝦最好吃,
但其他海鮮的鮮度和肥美程度只屬一般,
稍肆休息,食意再盛,
又點了沙拉,大蝦天使麵,質素比預期中好,
最後再吃掉老闆 Uncle Yan 送上的美味自家綠茶蛋榚,
飽到不行,埋單才 HK$580,
而且不收開瓶費,杯子質素算合格吧!
另一位老闆 John Stewart 很面善,
原來他曾在山頂 Cafe Deco 服務,是公認的開蠔高手.
John 經常隨著播放著的 Carlos Santana 音樂擺動身體,
我跟他說是聽 Santana 長大的,也談到最喜愛的結他手,
Jimi Hendrix,Eric Clapton,BB King,Roger Waters,
談得興來,放上 Roger Waters 的 DVD,
我們聽著 Breaking The Wall,談 Pink Floyd 的逸事,
”Life is about Food & Music”,John 說下次給我播 Eric Clapton.

John is a very nice guy. I remebered when he's working at Cafe Deco, every time I went to the oyster bar and ask him what was good for the day, he would normally only recommend one , s sometimes two kinds out of 6-7 on display. Smoky Bay was my favorite.
