Official Information:
Botalcura Winery is the result of the passion of three men. Our Chilean partner, Juan Fernando Waidele, was seduced by the charm of the town of Botalcura and its Environs. He passed on this fascination to Jochen Dolhe, our German partner, with whom he has a longstanding friendship. Their dream of founding a winery of excellence coincided perfectly with the desire of Enologist Philippe Debrus to return to a Hands-on approach to winemaking, A style he learned in his native France when he was young. Thus, three men from three different cultures come together in the creation of Botalcura Winery. The commitment of our team, who have been involved with Botalcura Winery since the beginning, gives us the certainty that we can offer the best Chilean wines. We know that the recognition that our El Delirio Reserve line and La Porfia Grand Reserve line have received is thanks to the team’s dedication, which is evident in every bottle.
